Natural waxes like soy wax, beeswax, and coconut wax are highly suitable for container candles because they are safe, retain fragrance well, and have smooth surfaces. Hard palm wax or beeswax are suitable for freestanding pillar candles due to their higher hardness.

This issue is usually caused by: incorrect wax pouring temperatures, or cooling down too quickly. It could also stem from an unoptimized wax blend, or a large temperature difference between the container and the molten wax when pouring.

Typically, the ideal blending temperature to dissolve fragrance oils into wax is between 65°C - 70°C for soy/coconut wax and 75°C - 80°C for beeswax, ensuring the fragrance binds tightly with wax molecules without evaporating.

Not necessarily. Wax hardness depends on the type of candle you want to make. Jar/container candles need flexible waxes with good jar adhesion (like soy or coconut wax). Freestanding pillar or molded candles require harder waxes (like beeswax or hard palm wax).
