Introducing the types of candle wax available at Gili.
With a customer-centric approach to development, Gili is a hub for the finest fragrances, designed to enhance living and working spaces. Like food, fragrances are "nutritious treats" that bring beauty and mental well-being. With societal progress, people are increasingly seeking safe, sustainable, and healthy solutions from nature.
1. Soy Wax: Made from 100% natural soybean oil, soy wax is the most popular type of wax used in the production of scented candles in jars and cups. This type of wax burns cleanly, produces no harmful black smoke, burns longer, and has an extremely smooth surface after solidification.
2. Beeswax: Beeswax is the most precious natural wax, with a characteristic mild honey fragrance. It burns for a long time and helps purify the air by releasing negative ions while burning. Beeswax is very hard, making it suitable for pillar candles or artistically shaped candles.
3. Coconut Wax: Coconut wax has a low melting point and excellent essential oil retention (up to 10-12%). Coconut wax candles emit a very strong fragrance when burning, and the candle surface after pouring is perfectly smooth and adheres to the cup exceptionally well.
4. Palm Wax: Extracted from natural palm oil, palm wax comes in two types: soft palm wax (good adhesion to glass) and hard palm wax (creates a unique crystallization effect on the surface of upright pillar candles).
